Подробное описание карты Farmer vs. Hunter R! ver. 2.4:развернуть/свернутьThis map is based on the original Farmers vs Hunters. We really enjoyed playing the original map and appreciated it's fun concept, but in our humble opinion, some bugs and mechanics kept it from being what it truely could be.
Since we could not open the original map and fix these things there, we decided to create a whole new version - the one you're playing right now!
•New map! - We let you decide if it's better than the old one or not, but in any case - it's new :D
See, the old one was fine, but it was played so many times that it couldn't surprise anymore.
•No more cheats! - Keeping your cattle from moving with Hold Position or stucking yourself on places where Hunters can't get you is no longer possible.
•Different latagame style - While there was no better sight than your army marching through the mountains to finally get those bastards, it was really hard to control all those units effectively. Plus warcraft engine is just not fit for such numbers and having many players with many units led to some really nasty response issues.
•Game mechanics adjusted to different strategies - Turtling in one base or hidding livestock all around the map? Runnin away from lategame farmers or repeling them with an army of your own? All styles have their pros and conds, and the map is adjusted accordingly!
•Much more! - You will find that many other things have improved from the original version!
Also, keep in mind that this version is just a beta and there's a pretty decent chance it containts bugs and verious imbalances... Be patient, we are still working on this!

•Host can type -progame in the first 15 seconds of the game. This will switch the game mode into a more ballanced, but also harder to play version. Activating this mode makes the Hunters level up faster, have some income over time and it basically makes them stronger.
It is recommended to turn on this mode only when playing with good players (or at least with good Farmers).
•Host can kick other players with command:
(for example: -kick orange)
If the host player is a Farmer and the player desired for kick is one of the Hunters, the rest of the Hunter's team will be asked to vote for his booting. They can pass the vote by typing the same command, -kick

You don't know what type of unit this will be until you hire it. Mercenaries won't get spawned near the building they were trained in. Instead, they will teleport from distant lands at random location on the map. But this is ok since you can't control them anyway. Don't worry, Hunters won't get any bounty when killing them (not even experience).
Weaker than even the most basic tower, but you can build it around the map without risking the life of your precious Farmer.Upgrades like Improved Masonry and Marksmanship applies for this tower as well.note: The more of these towers you have, the more expensive they are to build.0-5 towers - 180 gold cost.6-10 towers - 400 gold cost11+ towers - 1200 gold cost.
Launches a flare above the user of this item, revealing a small area around it. The item has 45 seconds long cooldown.note: Launched flare can be seen from everywhere on the map. The caster also reveals his position with every usage of this item, although the Farmers won't know who launched the flare and might miss it if they don't pay attention to the minimap.
Although initially not stronger than hunters, a golem can be upgraded in many different ways and into many different outcomes. Just a few modifications can turn it into a hunter's worst nightmare!note: If a Golem dies, a new one will be avaliable for construction. However, all spell-upgrades from the previous golem will have to be researched again.

Conjures a spirit follower out of your footsteps. This feral companion lasts for 60 seconds and can help you break through the farmer's defenses as well as patrol around the woods - waiting for him if he tries to escape through the other side. Additional levels will allow you to summon stronger followers.
Sends a lightning based projectile towards the chosen direction. This projectile grabs the first enemy non-structure unit and pulls it towards the caster. The projectile itself can pass through trees and buildings, but the pulled unit can't. If it stumbles upon an unpathable area, it takes bonus damage and is no longer pulled.
Increases the damage of nearby mercenaries by 300%. If there are less than 12 mercenaries around, additional will be instantly teleported to the golem's location before gaining the attack damage bonus. This spell will teleport no mercenaries if there are no mercenaries on the map.
Can train peons at no cost, except for the food cost. And it also provides just enough food to train one peon. Wow, what a coincidence!With exception for that, this building is usually used as a wall, since it has a lot of hit points.
Increases the hunter's hit point regeneration by 3 hp/second. If the hunter hides from the vision of enemy units, he gets additional 4 hp/second special regeneration bonus. This bonus lasts as long as the hunter reamins out of combat.Special regeneration bonuses do not stack.
Deal splash damage that can also damage your units, although it does no damage to buildings. This makes it great for denying your livestock when things get bad. When this tower attacks from high ground, it does additional 100% damage instead of normal 10% bonus that other towers get.
This tower shoots arrows imbued with corrosive poison that also affects Golems. Does damage over time and slows down the movement speed of targeted units by 50% for a short duration.note: This tower kills Farmers with one shot if the -progame mode is active.
Destroys a target building, as long as the building is yours. This spell takes 5 seconds to take effect. During that time, the building's hit points are dropped to 1 and the building cannot be attacked by your own units.
This potion is stored in a fragile flask that breaks when thrown. The potion itself reacts to air very explosively, dealing 30 points of explosive damage to enemy units in area. Farmers are immune to the effect of this item.

Summons an invisible and immovable ward that provides vision in an area. Additional levels of this spell increase duration and cast range while reducing cooldown time.note: This is the most important spell you have - use it!
Nature hates units bearing this curse. All trees around targeted unit will get so angry that they will turn into treants just so they can attack it. These treants cannot move and will turn back to trees after a while.
Projectile-based spell that pulls the first enemy unit in its path towars the caster. Units can't be pulled through unpathable areas, but they will take extra damage if they're forced.
Allows you to hire mercenaries which do their best to hunt the Hunters. Mercenaries can't be controled by player and should they be slain by the Hunters, they give them no gold nor experience.
Places a hidden land mine at a target point. Enemy units that move near the land mine will activate the mine, destroying the mine and causing area of effect damage to nearby units.Avaliable after 20 minutes of gameplay.
Coates your weapon in corrosive poison that affects golems as well. The poison slows the movement speed of attacked units.This item is used instantly on your current weapon and therefore takes no space in inventory.
Lowers the wall so units can pass through it. This applies to enemy units as well as friendly ones.note: Lowered wall takes less time to repair, but keep in mind that Hunters can turn invisible!
This key once belonged to a Warcraft3 Map Critic.The critic is dead now.In any case, the bearer of this item has a 10% chance to land a 2x critical hit on every attack!Does not stack.
Sends a projectile conjured of magical energy towards a target direction. Damages every enemy unit it passes through and it can also pass through trees and doodads.
Just a basic tower that can be upgraded into better towers.note: Every tower (yes, even the upgraded versions of this tower) gets 10% bonus damage when attacking from high ground.
Slams the ground, sending a shockwave towards the direction the Golem is facing. This shockwave outbursts in a series of explosiong that deals increased damage to buildings.
Every good farmer owns a magical explosion-proof vest thanks to which he takes 0% of damage from Bombard Towers and Explosion Potions. He also takes about 9001% of damage from every other type of attack.
A tower with extremely long range but unprecise against moving targers. Good for bombarding animals inside of the farmer's base.note: This tower does no damage to Farmers.
Has only slightly better damage than Arrow Tower, but has higher range and shoots freezing projectiles that slow down the movement speed of enemy units. This effect doesn't stack.
