Подробное описание карты Battleships Legendary Pro v0.5.2:
In Battleships, you captain your ship in naval combat against an enemy empire. Much like DoTA, the ship acts as your hero as you navagate in and out of combat, purchase items to upgrade your ship, and gain levels (and abilities) that are useful for fighting. Each ship automatically attacks while you move around with weapons purchased from shops in your base (type -weapons for more tips on weapons). When the game begins your Captain will be without a ship and you will need to purchase a boat from one of the two harbors in the base. There are 3 different free 'starter' ships to choose from, and you should use one of them to start. You can purchase a new ship at any time during the game, but will only get 1/2 your money back for the sold ship. It is advised that you only purchase 1 or 2 non-free ships during the course of the game.
While fighting out at sea, you will gain money and experience by sinking empire ships (creeps), Towers & Harbors, and enemy Captains. Captain rewards are based on the Captian's networth and their KvD ratio, resulting in a range from 75 to 600. Generally speaking, you will want to limit the number of times that your ship gets sunk (feeding). When your ship is sunk, then it will automatically revive after a period of time back at your home base. The revive time increases over the course of the game. To avoid being sunk, it is a good idea to have support items like repair wood and or crew to help offset damage and avoid being sunk. You can also disengage from combat and repair in the repair bay in your harbor for free.
Each repair crew can be merged with a repair wood to make machine tools. For instance, the Normal Repair Wood and the Repair Crew will automatically combine into a Machine Tool. Only the repair wood/crew of the same 'level' will merge into a Machine Tool. For example, the Swedish Repair Crew and the Swedish Repair Wood will merge into the Swedish Machine Tool. In contrast, the Mechanics Crew will not merge with the Goblin Repair Wood. The repair crews and repair wood can be found in the same shop as the Machine Tool recipies.
For those accustomed to burning wood and repair crews from Pro, I have made it so that Machine Tools and Ship Upgrades sell for 100% of the money spent on them.
Special Thanks to Sked, the Founder of Battleships, for making his Battleships maps open source.
Thank you very much for playing my games from Caribbean Expansion, to my work on the -=13attleships=- [pro]/Pirateships (pre-Golden Age of Pirates) team, and, Battleships X, Tempest, Legendary (v1.0-6.5 & 10.0-10.9), Tides of War, & now Battleships Legendary Pro. I plan on updating the series from time to time, so please come to Battleships.forumer.com and post any ideas/suggestions/glitches/errors so I can fix them. I do appreciate all of you that have played my games over the years. It was an honor to have known you all. Thank you.
Each Sail can be merged with a Hull to make Ship Upgrades. For instance, the Great Sail and the Stone Hull will automatically combine into a Ship Upgrade. Only the repair sail/hull of the same 'level' will merge into a Ship Upgrade. For example, the Royal Sail and the Gold Hull will merge into the Royal Ship Upgrade. In contrast, the Goblin Sail will not merge with the Platinum Hull. The Sails and Hulls can be found in the same shop as the Ship upgrade recipies.
For those accustomed to burning sails and hulls from Pro, I have made it so that Machine Tools and Ship Upgrades sell for 100% of the money spent on them.
In Battleships, units attack one another primarily with cannons purchased at one of 4 different Weapons Merchants located in your own harbor (Standard, Elemental, Ballistic, and Specialty). Ships' Weapons work by randomly damaging units within the weapon's range and continually firing at given the weapon's cooldown. The smaller the cooldown, the faster the rate of fire. For example, the Basic Cannon has a range of 900, damage of 20 and a cooldown of 1.5. This means that for each Basic Cannon on your ship, it will cause 20 damage to 1 randomly picked enemy ship within 900 range every 1.5 seconds.
---Ships Advanced Ideas---
Support items and weapons can better benefit some ships than others. For instance, the destroyer is a relatively slow ship and it's primary ability is|cff33bbb Board Ship which is used in near melee range. So often times the Destroyer uses a teleport to instantly move next to an enemy ship then immediately board them. Also, the Destroyer typically uses short range weapons like Machine Guns. Another example is the use of long range weapons and an additional flare on a Scout. This allows the Scout to stay at range as it has significantly less HP than other ships.
One feature in Legendary Pro that is different from Battleships Pro is weapon upgrades. Each weapon is used to upgrade into another, more powerful weapon. For instance, the Cruiser Cannon will upgrade to the Standard Cannon for 800 gold. The Standard Cannon can, in turn, be upgraded to an Alpha Cannon, and an Alpha Cannon to an Omega Cannon. There are 8 different weapon trees, with 4 different levels. The very last upgrade in the tree is considered an Ultimate Weapon.
When you have obtained 2 Ultimate Weapons, they will merge into a Legendary Weapon which usually share attributes of both of the combining Ultimate Weapons. One helpful aspect of Legendary Weapons is that they sell for 100% of the money spent to make them (12000). So if you are not satisfied with the Legendary you just received, you are free to sell it and try a different combination. Once we establish a website, a detailed list of all Legendary Weapons will be displayed there.

I may continue the series from time to time. I do appreciate all of you that have played my games over the years. It was an honor to have known you all. Thank you.
